The Three Tigers from Ostrava are four in number and wield the improvisational humour that cured the Czech Republic of its living room depression during the age of covid. Then the fans returned the favour and gave birth to a feature film, to which you are cordially invited.
Štěpán Kozub, Robin Ferro, Albert Čuba and Vladimír Polák play an action comedy centered on a scratch ticket with a considerable amount of money. Somebody wins, but somebody else wants to win – and they are all, to put it mildly, quite peculiar. Road Trip from Ostrava to Prague is actually a bold attempt to translate a whirlwind of sketches, puns and black humour from the theatre boards to the cinema screen. Did it succeed?
